I have only eaten here once, so I cannot judge well from one experience. However, the fish sandwich was good and the waitress did her job well. The decor was very interesting, what with the movie posters, train track above everything, and all. But to get give five stars would require more visits.
So glad I took my mom to lunch here. It was noisy, which is hard for elderly people but we had a wonderful server who really helped us in our choice of food for lunch. My mom had the Reuben sandwich and it could’ve fed both of us! But I had decided to get the Cuban sandwich which was amazing. My mom said her side salad was one of the best she’s ever had and I had the steak fries, but I was so full from the sandwich. I think I only ate two steak fries, which were delicious. Cute place to eat and the food is terrific. Glad we went there today.
My family went for Sunday Brunch at Jenkins Restaurant in Cleveland, Tn. Everyone loved it, even my pickiest grandchild! I have never seen him eat that much at one sitting. Everything was tasty and well presented. Some folks in Cleveland long for the "old" Jenkins, but I greatly prefer the new decor and creative food choices. We tried quite a few different dishes and enjoyed them all. The hashbrown casserole cake was a standout for me. The kids got a kick out of the toy train that runs on tracks overhead. I want to go back and try the blackened fish sandwich that I have heard great reports about. Something for everyone!
We visited Jenkins Restaurant and Deli on August 22, 2025. Or server, Laura, was personable, attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. I had the grilled fish sandwich, my wife had the beet salad and my daughter had a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was, hot fresh and tasty. We then shared a slice of lemon curd cheesecake and it was exceptional! On our way out the door we were already talking about visiting Jenkins again on our next visit to Cleveland, TN.
An awesome place to eat so close to Lee University. They have a cute train that travels through the restaurant. They let my daughter sign their wall, like many others have before. Service was awesome and the chicken salad sandwich was really good. Definitely recommend!
Not exaggerating... GREAT place to visit. Great food, great atmosphere, and stellar service! You MUST try the onion rings with the Jenk-Jenk sauce! If you want the best service, ask for McKayla.
Every time I come to Chattanooga, I go to Cleveland to buy shoes and to Jenkins to have a great lunch. Great service friendly atmosphere. The food is always good. I've tried so many different things but today I had the famous chicken salad sandwich. I was not disappointed, it was really good. I had fried pickles and chicken and rice soup. All of it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. Stop here when you go to Becky's in Cleveland to get shoes.
That's a great place for lunch I really enjoy the BLT here Service was great and the food awesome
